Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tranki S.A.S. ("Tranki," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our US websites (including tranki.ai/us and tranki.ai/agents), contact us or use our services (the "Services"). It also describes the privacy rights available to residents of certain US states.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Contact and booking details: when you book a demo or consultation, your first and last name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, company size and the meeting time you choose.
- Account and billing details: name, email, phone, company information and billing details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Configuration data: the knowledge, instructions, rules, API credentials and account identifiers you provide to set up your agents and connect your channels.
- Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or other channels.
1.2 Information processed on behalf of our customers
When a business uses Tranki to communicate with its own customers, we process that information on the business's behalf and following its instructions. This may include the public profile name and identifiers of end customers, the content of messages (text, audio, files, locations), phone numbers and message metadata received through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and other connected channels. The business is responsible for its own privacy notices and for obtaining any required consents. If you are an end customer of a business that uses Tranki, please contact that business to exercise your rights; we will assist it as required by law.
1.3 Google user data
When a customer connects Google Calendar through OAuth, Tranki requests only the permissions needed to check availability and to create, update or delete events according to the customer's instructions. Google Calendar data is used only to provide the scheduling feature; it is not sold or used for advertising. Access tokens are stored encrypted, and access can be revoked at any time from the Google account or by writing to [email protected]. Tranki's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
1.4 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages and interactions with our websites.
- Approximate location: we use your IP address, through the GeoJS service, to determine your country and suggest the version of our website for your region.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain and support the Services, including sending and receiving messages through the channels a customer connects.
- To schedule and hold demos and consultations, respond to inquiries and prepare proposals.
- To process payments and manage accounts.
- To secure the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with the policies of the platforms we integrate with.
- To understand how our websites are used and improve them.
- To advertise our Services and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Artificial intelligence
Our agents use AI model providers to understand and respond to messages. Depending on the implementation, these may include OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. These providers process the information needed to generate each response on our behalf. Tranki does not use your data, or the messages of your customers, to train AI models.
4. Data from Meta platforms
Tranki does not use, sell, license or share data obtained through Meta's APIs (WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram) for advertising profiling, to build audiences, to transfer to data brokers or to send advertising unrelated to the relationship between a business and its customer. This data is used only to enable the customer service, sales and support functions of the Services.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers that process information on our behalf, including hosting and content delivery (Hostinger, Cloudflare), databases (Supabase), customer relationship management and scheduling (HubSpot), payments (Stripe), messaging (Meta), calendar (Google), AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), country detection (GeoJS) and analytics (Microsoft Clarity).
- Advertising partners (Meta and Google) through cookies and pixels on our websites, which collect information about your visits to show you relevant ads and measure their results. Some US state laws consider this "sharing" or "targeted advertising." See section 8 to opt out.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, regulation, legal process or a government request, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Tranki, our customers or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
6. International transfers
Tranki is based in Mexico. Your information may be processed in Mexico, the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterwards only as required for legal, tax or dispute purposes. When a customer deletes its account or disconnects a channel, the related data and stored conversations are removed from our primary databases, except where we must keep them by law. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, such as encryption of access tokens, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
